The Knesset Labor and Welfare Committee has extended the payment of compensation to employees who are obligated to enter quarantine until the end of February.
According to Bituach Leumi, to date around 12,000 employers have applied for compensation for 102,000 employees who have been obligated to enter quarantine. Compensation was paid for around 550,000 lost days of work at a cost of NIS 159 million.
