A new mother has collapsed and passed away in Maayane Hayeshua hospital in Bnei Brak.
The hospital announced in a statement that: "A new mother with no comorbidities has unexpectedly collapsed. Prolonged resuscitation attempts were made by senior and experienced staff who fought for her life, but to our great regret, it was not possible to save her and her death was determined as due to an embolism.
"As is customary, the Health Ministry has been informed. The staff of Maayane Hayeshua shares in the grief of the family and is assisting them to the best of our ability."
