Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas told Defense Minister Benny Gantz at their meeting yesterday that he would not allow violence, terrorism or the use of firearms against Israelis as long as he is in power, and regardless of the nature of relations between Israel and the Palestinians, Kan News reported this morning.
Mahmoud Abbas added that the PA's security mechanisms would continue to operate on the issue.
