Responding to the resignation of the IDF's officer in charge of operations involving the return of missing and captured soldiers, the Goldin family issued a statement saying:
"With this resignation, we see proof of what we have been saying for the past seven years: Israel is not doing a thing to return soldiers from the battlefield. This should concern every parent whose child enlists in the IDF."
