Responding to the passage of the Electricity Law in its second and third readings in committee today, the Religious Zionism party issued a statement:
"This is a bad law that undermines the foundational principles of Zionism which the State of Israel is based on; it also undermines the rule of law and the principle of equality before the law. For Jews: laws for planning and construction. For Arabs: laws for construction and construction.
"Ayelet Shaked is the friend of supporters of terrorism; in order to gain her seat in the cabinet she is paying a heavy price in blood to those who are undermining the State of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state. The Israeli public will not forgive her these irresponsible steps. Ayelet, you should be ashamed of yourself."
