The Knesset plenum approved in second and third reading the Security Service Bill - Placing Veterans in the Israel Police and the Prison Service, Temporary Provisions. 56 MKs supported the proposal, and 48 opposed.
The proposal seeks to extend by one year the temporary order that allows soldiers to be placed in the Israel Police in certain units of the Prison Service.
