MK Shirly Pinto from Yamina attacked opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu, who refused to let her off the hook, so she was forced to attend the Knesset plenum a few weeks after the birth.

''Suppose I were to somehow accept the fact that I was brought to the plenum, again, right after childbirth, but now? While Israel is in the midst of the wave of Omicron that did not miss the Knesset either, does it sound reasonable to put a high and unnecessary risk on a baby whose mother may be exposed?" She asked.

'' Heartfelt thanks to the chairman of the opposition for reaching a new low, a lack of leadership and thoughtfulness. Now I understand what the opposition means: 'Everything for the sake of politics' - also to endanger babies - everything goes '', Pinto added.
