The Southern District Attorney's Office filed an indictment in the Be'er Sheva District Court against Yosef al-Mabhouh, a security prisoner belonging to Hamas in Nafha Prison, alleging that he committed a terrorist act of aggravated sabotage against a prison guard and an offense of possession of a dangerous prohibited object.
According to the indictment, al-Mabhouh attacked a prison guard in the face with an improvised sharp object out of ideological motive. The indictment further states that the prisoner threw down the guard and continued to stab him until more guards arrived.
