Today, a military exercise began, in which reservists from the Computer Services Directorate will be summoned. During the exercise, telephone calls will be made and text messages will be sent to the reserve servicemen, some of whom will be asked to report to their units, according to the instructions given.
The IDF spokesman said that the purpose of the exercise is to examine and improve the readiness of the reserve soldiers, with an emphasis on the process of arrival to service when necessary. The exercise will last until Tuesday, and was planned in advance as part of the 2021 training program.
