The trial to determine the sentence of Eliran Malul, who was convicted of the aggravated murder of his late wife Michal Sala, began today in the Jerusalem District Court.
Malul first apologized for the murder: "I wish I could turn the wheel back and prevent the severe and terrible tragedy." The prosecutor requested that he be sentenced to life imprisonment and maximum compensation.
