Prof. Galia Rahav, a member of the pandemic treatment team, on Tuesday night spoke in an interview with Galei Tzahal (IDF Radio) about the team’s decision to recommend a fourth vaccine for people aged 60 and over, the immuno-suppressed and adult health workers.

"In the last two weeks I have changed my mind four or five times. It is true that there is not enough data, but we know that the immunity is going down. In such a situation if you do not act immediately – you miss the train," said Rahav, adding, "The decision was not easy at all because we do not yet have data that there is really a decrease in the level of immunity as there was before the booster dose, but on the other hand there is terribly scary data on what is happening in the wider world."
