Government office staff to be limited to 50% of capacity

In a telephone vote, government ministers authorized a cap on 50% of staff capacity in workplaces in government and public service sector offices.

Department heads and unit heads will be able to authorize a higher number of staff in government offices, if this is required in order to maintain a standard of service.

The decision will take effect from next Sunday and will apply for a month.
