The Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Security and the Committee on Internal Security, chaired by MK Meirav Ben-Ari, convened for the first discussion on the affair of the death of the late Ahuvia Sandak, who was killed during a police chase in Binyamin.
MK Itamar Ben Gvir, who initiated the investigation, said, "Sandak's story is not a personal story but a general and broad story of division, polarization, and lack of trust, and the feeling of Hilltop Youth who feel their lives have been abandoned."
The chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Ram Ben Barak, said at the beginning of the hearing, "Nothing justifies a young man dying no matter what the reason."
