Dr. Yasmin Maor, a member of the pandemic treatment team, spoke about the spread of the Omicron variant in an interview with Galei Tzahal (IDF Radio) on Sunday night.
"This strain is very contagious. We have a large share of the population that is not fully vaccinated - there are a lot of people who are exposed not only to infection but also to complications," Maor said.
