A team of firefighters from the Central Galilee station forced entry to a house in Carmiel this evening to discover an elderly man lying on the floor in a smoke-filled apartment. The victim was rescued and transferred to medical care.
A search of the house determined that the smoke had been caused by a pot catching fire on the stove.
