The Ministry of Health received a report of a gray wolf infected with rabies in Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar in the Upper Galilee. No humans are known to have been exposed.
The ministry requested that anyone who was in contact with the infected animal, or whose animals came into contact with the infected animal or a stray animal, between 1.12.2021 and 15.12.2021 inclusive, contact the Health Bureau in Tzfat urgently.
