MK Shirley Pinto (Yamina) arrived to vote in the plenum about a week after the birth of her daughter.

"6 days after the birth and here I was brought back by the coalition for vote because there is no majority. In any other case, I would understand the opposition's considerations, but this time we entered a parallel and crazy world where it makes sense to bring in a woman who has just given birth.

"What is so funny and sad about this whole issue is the Knesset members who honestly thought that this situation was immoral, but drew the line in a 'factional decision,'" she said.
