Justice Minister Gideon Sa'ar welcomed the approval of the Search Law in the first reading last night in the Knesset.
"Tonight, the Knesset approved my proposal to expand the police's search powers by a temporary order when it comes to the suspicion of concealing evidence in cases of serious crime. 77% of murder cases in Arab society are not solved, meaning most killers roam free among us. The rate of solving crimes in Arab society must rise. We are determined to return governance throughout the country," Sa'ar said.
