At Beilinson Hospital, a 37-year-old woman was hospitalized on Friday, with her third pregnancy, at week 37 and with confirmed corona, from the central region. The woman is not vaccinated.
Due to the corona, her condition deteriorated and the doctors decided on a cesarean section last Friday.
After the cesarean section, she was hospitalized in the corona maternity ward and following a further worsening of her condition due to breathing difficulties, it was decided to transfer her to the corona intensive care unit. Now her condition has worsened, she is on respirators and is anesthetized. The baby is in a premature ward in Schneider and is in stable condition.
