Prime Minister Naftali Bennett posted a clarification on Twitter following his statement this morning about two boys who died from the "Omicron" variant in the UK, which turned out to be incorrect.
"Two days ago it was reported on the BBC that two British students from the same class fell ill with COVID-19 and died shortly afterwards, a week apart. They died after contracting another strain of the virus, not omicron," Bennett said.
