Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, addressed the nuclear talks with Iran in an interview with Gali Tzahal.

"The current administration supports a return to the nuclear deal, but recognizes that the Iranians are dragging their feet and continuing to enrich uranium, so there has been disillusionment here. It is difficult to estimate how the talks will end, but the estimate of a return has dropped dramatically. From about 70-80% to 20%," Erden said.

He said, "Israel as an independent state has a duty to protect its citizens and its priorities and considerations are different from those of the United States." The administration understands and accepts this, I was not under the impression that there are gaps between the countries in this context."
