At the conclusion of a joint discussion on Thursday evening, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz and Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton decided to continue with the "green classroom" model, but to apply a number of changes to it.
The model will not apply in a classroom where there are two confirmed cases of COVID-19 and in classrooms where at least one student is suspected to have been infected with the Omicron variant.
