The Minister of Internal Security, Amar Bar-Lev, responded to the stabbing attack in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood of Jerusalem.
"The stabbing attack this morning, which led to the injury of a Jewish mother who was walking with her children at the entrance to the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, is a difficult event. Thanks to the Jerusalem District's quick action, the suspect was apprehended and taken into custody. I wish the wounded a speedy recovery, " the minister said.
