The length of the knife that was stabbed in the back of the person injured in the attack in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood of Jerusalem is 30 centimeters. The 26-year-old wounded woman was taken to the hospital with the knife still stuck in her back. Her condition is defined as mild.
Prof. Hagai Maza, director of the surgical department at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, updated, "This morning a wounded woman from the stabbing attack arrived with the knife in her back. When we arrived at the trauma unit, it was possible to remove the knife, and we transferred it for testing."
He added: "The knife was very large, about thirty centimeters long. She was very agitated and that is understandable, she was stabbed while walking her children. She was very worried, but pretty quickly things worked out. Luckily the injury was relatively superficial and without damage to internal organs. "
