Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that his country is joining a US boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
"The decision stems in part from the Chinese human rights violation in Xinjiang province," Morrison said. Similar to the US, although no diplomatic delegation will arrive, the Australian athletes will take part in the Olympics.
