Head of Infectious Disease Unit: Still uncertain about the omicron

Head of Infectious Disease Unit, Dr. Tal Brosh, commented on the omicron variant to Reshet Bet.

"It is still difficult to know how much the omicron causes hospitalization and mortality. In the meantime, the rate of hospitalizations does not seem to be higher, but care must be taken because it does appear to be more contagious and passed on quicker," Brosh said.
