The Knesset plenum approved the second and third readings of a bill initiated by MK Sharren Haskel (New Hope), according to which minimum penalties will be set for offenses of possession and trafficking in illegal weapons.
The proposal was approved by a majority of four MKs and without opposition or abstention, after all reservations to the law were rejected.
