MK Moshe Gafni (UTJ) denounced Yisrael Beiteinu's conversion law in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation.
"According to the MK from Yisrael Beiteinu, there is no need for conversion at all. Anyone who declares themselves a jew will be Jewish. Why not make this the rule for health checkups or pilot's licenses too?" he demanded. "We must stop them from completely dismantling the Jewish people and the Jewish state."
