Defense Minister Benny Gantz had a message for United States in the wake of last week's confrontation with Israel over the Iranian issue.
"I am confident that the United States is committed to its promise that Iran will not have nuclear weapons - this is a global, regional and Israeli interest. The United States and Israel share common values and the same interests - so it has been and will continue to be."
"Contrary to all publications, I would like to emphasize that Israel does not have a better strategic ally than the United States and our relations with the Americans will continue to strengthen, and military, intelligence and security cooperation will deepen."
