The chairman of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, MK Gilad Kariv (Labor), lit Hannukah candles with the participation of dozens of representatives of the communities in Israel and representatives of hundreds of communities from the Diaspora who participated online.
"This moving ceremony is our response to the evil words of MK Miri Regev and her partners, according to which Reform Judaism has nothing to do with the Western Wall. They are not the ones who will determine the connection of millions of Reform Jews to the Land of Israel, the State of Israel and Jerusalem," Kariv said.
