Maj. Gen. Eitan Dangot, a former "coordinator of government activities in the territories" (COGAT), referred in an interview with Galei Tzahal to the incident in which Israelis who accidentally entered Ramallah were attacked.
"There are many Israelis who enter the main cities in Judea and Samaria, some of whom belong to the Arab sector, but not all of them. Yesterday a significant warning sign was lit for Jews to avoid such entries, it could have ended in disaster," Dangot said.
