Supreme Court Justice Alex Stein has ordered the Rahat Municipality, the mayor, the Interior Ministry, the ombudsman and the leadership to advance the status of women to respond to MK Ben Gvir's petition against the Rahat municipal pool.
Ben-Gvir claims in his petition that this is a serious discrimination between the pool in Rahat and the municipal pool in Kiryat Arba, where the High Court ruled that if there are no mixed hours, the pool must be closed. Ben Gvir claimed: "Rahat is not above the law and the law of Rahat is the law of Kiryat Arba." The judge ordered the respondents to respond within 30 days to the petition.
