The Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, and the Minister of Finance, Avigdor Lieberman, agreed today (Monday) to increase the reimbursement allowance ('out-of-pocket expenses') for national service volunteers by 50%. Volunteers will now be allowed to claim reimbursement for approximately 810 ILS of expenses a month on necessities, instead of the previous allowance of approximately 540 ILS. The move is expected to cost approximately 60 million ILS, to be paid for by the Finance Ministry and the Prime Minister's Office.
