Minister Elazar Stern says that the ISA's involvement is critical to contain the newest strain of COVID-19.
"The decision is not simple but also not so complicated. It reflects a clash of values between human life and individual rights. When the need arises to stop an epidemic that could cost many lives, the decision is obvious. I have no doubt that this is in the best interests of not only the entire Israeli society, but also the individual good of those being traced."
