Prime Minister Naftali Bennett lit the first Hanukkah candle at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
The event took place in the presence of the Western Wall Rabbi, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and the Director General of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mordechai Eliav.
Prior to the lighting, the Prime Minister toured the "Great Bridge" route, the route of the new Western Wall tunnels that has not yet been unveiled to the public, which led pilgrims into the Temple during the Second Temple period.
