The Tax Authority has announced that it will allow business owners who applied for and received assistance grants during periods of public health restrictions, and did not meet the conditions set by law, to spread the payments to return the grants until June 2023, instead of until December 2022.
This is to the extent that their businesses experienced a decrease in the annual turnover between the years 2019 and 2020 and the total debt for which the assistance is requested exceeds NIS 15,000.
The decision was made following inquiries received by the Authority and discussions held in Knesset committees.
