Head of Public Health Services: vaccine effective against Omicron

Head of Public Health Services Dr. Sharon Alroy-Preis said at a press conference regarding the Omicron strain: “It is believed that the vaccine is effective against this variant as well. Nevertheless, vaccinated people will still be able to transmit the virus, and so will be required to observe quarantine if exposed."
