The chairman of the Constitution Committee, MK Gilad Kariv (Labor), responded to an attack by MK Miri Regev against Reform Judaism on the "Meet the Press" television program.
"It is unbelievable that Regev may have been Foreign Minister by now had the previous government remained in power. Her demonstration of ignorance tonight in relation to the Jewish communities is another excellent reminder of how important it was that we prevented this disaster and sent that government home. It is better that Regev continues to shame herself in the studios and not as the representative of Israel to the world."
