Prof. Eran Segal, a member of the advisory team for the Coronavirus Cabinet, says tonight (Thursday) that it is still impossible to determine if another wave of infections has begun.

"We do not yet know if this is a new wave - it depends on people getting vaccinated. We also do not know if there is a decline in the effectiveness of the last booster shot. There is a real increase in morbidity - but this spread can still be stopped," Segal said.
