Seven weeks since the law memorandum was published, government ministers last night unanimously approved Justice Minister Gidon Saar's bill to limit the term of office of prime ministers.
Israel Hayom reported that the next step in the process of promoting the law is to bring it to the Knesset for a first reading as soon as possible - it is estimated in the coalition that this will be as early as this week.
