Deputy Superintendent Elazar Kahana was today (Sunday) officially appointed chief legal advisor of the Israel Police.
Kahana will replace Eilat Eliezer, who has served in the position for the past four years.
Kahana (53) lives in Gadera, is married and has 8 children. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in law, and currently serves as a deputy police superintendent. Kahana has been serving in the legal advisory system in a wide variety of positions for the past 25 years
