Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked referred to the shooting attack in the Old City of Jerusalem.
"A Jew was murdered in the Old City on the road leading to the Temple Mount, just because he was a Jew. I share in the family's grief and pray for the recovery of the wounded. On the day in which we remember theose wounded in terror attacks and hostilities, we receive a painful reminder that the struggle is not over yet. Jews should be able to walk all over the country, in Jerusalem and on the Temple Mount, with confidence and without fear."
