France will not follow in the footsteps of European countries that have imposed restrictions on the unvaccinated, following the success of the "Health Pass", the French equivalent of the Green Pass, in halting the spread of the virus.
In France, a vaccination or a negative test is required to enter restaurants, cafes and cinemas, and to travel on long-distance trains, among other things.
French President Emmanuel Macron said that "those countries that put the vaccinated in quarantine are the ones that did not take the use of the health card. Therefore this step is not necessary in France."
