In Lebanon, it was reported that Palestinian Authority Chairman Abbas informed the Shabak chief at their meeting last week that he was willing to show flexibility in the payment of salaries to terrorist families, but stressed that the cessation of payment would lead to a "Palestinian uprising" against him.
According to the report, Israel has offered the PA to stop cutting the tax money transferred to the Authority, if it transfers the funds to welfare.
