A new confrontation has sprung up within the coalition between New Hope and Meretz, and especially between MK Sharren Haskel and Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz, over a special committee on cannabis in the Knesset, which has not yet been established.
MK Hashakel is threatening to stop voting with the coalition in the Knesset if a cannabis committee is not established in the Knesset, as stipulated in the coalition agreement with New Hope, journalist Zeev Kam reported. The committee has not yet been set up due to strong opposition from the Minister of Health on the issue.
