MK Orit Strook commented on the IDF's decision to change the rules of engagement for infantry.
"Although this is too small a change, it is to be welcomed as well. The new instructions make it difficult to believe or understand the previous ones, which forbade firing on thieves stealing weapons and gear from IDF bases."
"The next step must be to change the rules of engagement on the Gaza border. An army that puts the lives of the enemy above the lives of its soldiers is not a moral army," Strook said.
