Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked, who is in the United States to promote a visa exemption agreement for Israelis, believes her chances of success are higher than ever.
"After many years of impasse, the Americans are finally showing themselves ready to move forward with this. I am meeting on Wednesday with the Minister of Homeland Security who is in charge of this issue and has pushed for visa exemption agreement for many years," Shaked said.
