Fire and Rescue Commissioner Dudi Samchi commented on a fire that broke out during Shabbat, saying that "This fire was man-made. We are investigating the fires and I believe we will be able to determine the cause and who committed it. There will be strong winds tomorrow as well and I call on all citizens not to light fires in the open."
