A short time ago, the MDA treated an elderly woman who had been strangled by food at her home in Lod. The medics performed resuscitation on her and removed a piece of meat from her throat with the help of special equipment.
The elderly woman regained consciousness and was evacuated to Assaf Harofeh Hospital.
