Administrative detainee Makdad Qawasmi has ended his hunger strike after 113 days. According to the Ministry of Information of the Palestinian prisoners, an agreement was reached under which the prisoner will be released in February.

Approximately a month ago, MK Itamar Ben-Gvir came to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot to check on Qawasmi, where he had a violent confrontation with MK Ayman Odeh.

MK Ben-Gvir commented: "Only the State of Israel succumbs to terrorism and cuts deals with a terrorist, for fear of escalation and Hamas threats. The terrorists are learning a method to get out of an investigation thanks to a hunger strike from which no one has died so far."
